Craig Douglas

Craig Douglas Technical Services Manager

Craig worked in the maintenance department of his last association for over 12 years before taking the role of Technical Services Manager at Linthouse HA. In that time, he gained his membership to the institute of Clerk of Works and building inspectorate. He has worked on various new build projects both domestic and commercial as well as on day-to-day maintenance issues.

At his last association he was heavily involved with the modernisation of its 800 properties. These works included both internal and external modernisation. The experience gained over these years along with the many years he worked in construction prior to joining the housing sector has put him in good standing to fulfil his role as technical services manager and will help us deliver our goal to invest in modernising Linthouse HA stock and deliver high quality responsive repairs service to customers.

Derek Rainey Asset Manager

Derek graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a BA (Hons) in Finance and Marketing and is a part qualified accountant.  He started work with Linthouse Housing Association in November 1996 as a graduate trainee within the maintenance department. As his passion for social housing grew, he moved to work within the finance department as a Finance Assistant before becoming Finance Officer, a post he occupied for many years.
In late 2018 an exciting opportunity for promotion arose within our newly formed Asset Management team. Derek applied for it and was appointed to the new post of Asset Manager.  

Derek’s knowledge of our IT systems, processes and over 20 years’ experience of working at the Association will help us to achieve our goal of investing wisely in our housing stock.  As both Asset Manager and a member of the Senior Leadership Team Derek hopes to help contribute to and shape an exciting future for Linthouse in the years to come!

Claire Morgan

Claire Morgan Technical and Investments Officer 

Claire started her housing career at Irvine Housing Association where she worked for 10 years before joining Linthouse in January 2018. She has always worked within the Property Maintenance function and brings experience of day-to-day repairs, cyclical contracts, gas maintenance compliance and health and safety. During her three years at Linthouse she has been involved in the large-scale component replacement works and the contract management of cyclical, planned and reactive contracts. As the team was new when Claire started, she has been able to gain experience in most of the LHA Asset Management functions.

Carey Tom

Tom Carey Technical and Investments Officer

Tom joined our Property Services Team in February 2025. Tom has a wealth of knowledge having spent 26 years in the repairs industry. 

Tom worked with the Local Authority in the Repairs Sector for 15 years and within Housing associations for 11 years up to now. 

Since joining Linthouse Tom has been involved in voids and repair and looks forward to assisting Linthouse going forward.

Vegh Andrea

Andrea Végh Temporary Technical and Investments Officer

Andrea joined the Association in November 2025 and has over 5 years’ experience in the housing sector. In her previous role she gained experience working on structural, recladding, full refurbishment and major component replacement projects, whilst also managing the Stage 3 medical adaptations programme. Andrea looks forward to building on her existing knowledge whilst supporting the local community.

Lauren McArthur

Lauren McArthur Asset Coordinator 

Lauren joined the property services team in April 2023. Lauren is looking to broaden her skills in housing services after spending some time studying paramedic science at university. Lauren is a local resident who hopes to help tenants in every way she can.

Karla Donachie

Karla Donachie Technical Assistant 

Karla joined Linthouse in February 2023. She currently works in our Property Services Team. Karla’s role within the team is to log any repairs they get through email or tenants phoning in, do invoicing on the repairs end and complete information in the repair once the job has been complete.

Suzanne Jones

Suzanne Jones Asset Assistant 

Suzanne started with Linthouse in February 2025. Suzanne is part of our Property Services team as a clerical assistant.

Steven Benson Facilities and Estate Supervisor

Steven joined Linthouse in October 2023 and has been in housing for the past 15 years providing estate management services and keeping a clean estate for our valued tenants. 

Jack Fletcher

Jack Fletcher Facilities and Estate Caretaker 

Jack started with LHA in November 2022 and is now part of our Property Services Team. Jack will work alongside our Estates team and work with the public to help keep our street clean. His previous experience was acting manager at an officer club. Jack also helped with the delivery intake with heavy lifting and distributing stock to the right department.

Jason McCulloch

Jason McCulloch Facilities and Estate Caretaker 

Our new Estate caretaker, Jason, started with us in May. He has replaced Graeme, and we hope you will warmly welcome him to the LHA Estate Team.
